Celebrate National Library Week with Galvin Library and the CPL's Bee Branch!
Galvin Library is partnering with the Chicago Public Library's Bee Branch to host a library card drive on Wednesday, April 22nd from 2:30pm-4:30pm. To register for your free public library card, all you need to do is come to the library's upper level, right by the stairs, and bring the following:
- A state ID or driver's license with your current address and picture
- If you live on campus or your current address does not match your ID, bring proof of your current address, such as a bill or other piece of mail postmarked within 30 days.
- Please note: CPL cannot accept PO boxes as valid addresses.
Anyone who registers for a card will receive their card on-site. Additionally, per new CPL policy, your card will never expire! Stop by to get your card, visit with Galvin staff and CPL librarians, and learn about everything the public library can do for you!
