Open access is the free, immediate, online access to the results of scholarly research, and the right to use and re-use those results. This year’s theme is The Cost of Knowledge. Scan the QR code to learn more about Open Access Week 2026, Open Access at Illinois Tech, and how we support open access initiatives on our Scholarly Communications Research Guide.
