IIT Library Catalog Search Plugin
Search the IIT Catalog from your browser's toolbar!
This plugin lets you search the catalog by keyword from the search box in your browser's toolbar. Available for Firefox, and Internet Explorer 7.
How do I know what version I'm using? To find out, go to the 'Help' menu in your browser, and click on 'About [browser name]'. A window will open with information on what version you're currently running.
Note: You may need to restart your browser in order for the search plugin to appear.

Troubleshooting:
Having trouble getting the plugin installed? Got the plugin installed but it's not working? First, try closing and restarting your browser. If you still have problems, Ask a Librarian.
Want to uninstall the plugin? Use the directions below:
- Firefox 2: Right-click on the 'IIT Library Catalog' option in the search menu in the upper-right-hand corner. Select 'Remove Engine.'
- IE 7: Open the search menu in the upper-right-hand corner. Select 'Change Search Defaults'. Select the 'IIT Library Catalog' option and click 'Remove'.
