Computing & Wi-Fi
Galvin Library offers a number of computing services for IIT patrons. Computers for guest use are also provided. If you have questions or need assistance using library computers, contact the Reference Desk on the Upper Level of the library.
Galvin Library offers a limited number of laptops for use by current IIT students, faculty, and staff. Laptops may only be used inside the Galvin Library.
To request a laptop:
- Go to the Circulation Desk on the Lower Level of the library.
- Complete the Laptop Borrowing Agreement form.
- Present a valid IIT ID card.
Please note that by signing the Agreement form, you are responsible for ensuring the laptop is not damaged, lost or stolen while in your possession, and you will be held liable for any repair or replacement fees.
