Chemistry Preprint Server
A free searchable database of research papers in chemistry. Requires a free user
registration.
ChemWeb
Membership is required (but it's free) for this site which includes nearly 200 journals
and 40 databases. The forums/communities section groups resources by specialty.
EXTOXNET
Searchable source of information on pesticides developed by toxicologists and chemists
within the Extension Service of several land-grant universities.
International Toxicity Estimates
for Risk World Wide Web Database
ITER is a compilation of human health risk values for over 500 chemicals of environmental
concern.
Molecular Universe
Organized into lessons about molecules and molecular systems, with a useful index
and color illustrations, this site cines from the Royal Institute of Great Britain.
NIST WebBook
This database contains IR spectra for over 5,000 compounds and Mass Spectra for
over 8,000 compounds in addition to other chemical property info.

Sponsored by the National Library of Medicine, this site is a collection of databases
