American Society of Civil Engineers
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), is dedicated to the advancement of the
individual civil engineer and the advancement of the science and profession of civil
engineering through education. It is the leading representative body for civil engineers
in the United States and is internationally recognized in the civil engineering profession.
This site gives information about the Society, its membership, departments, and services.
Also included is information about ASCE publications and some job vacancy sections. The
CEDB provides access to over 80,000 bibliographic and abstracted records.
American Society of Transportation and Logistics
AST&L is a professional organization founded in 1946 by a group of industry leaders.
In 2002 AST&L affiliated with The National Industrial Transportation League to enhance
the education component for the organization and its members. Abstracts from the current
issue of Transportation Journal are available online at this site.
Association for Facilities Engineering
AFE is an organization of professionals who ensure the optimal operation of plants,
grounds and offices at Fortune 500 manufacturers, universities, medical centers,
government agencies and innovative small firms from around the world. Full text

Association for Manufacturing Technology
Founded in 1902, The Association For Manufacturing Technology represents and promotes the
interests of American providers of manufacturing machinery and equipment. Since 1988, AMT
has broadened its membership scope to include all of the elements of manufacturing design,
automation, material removal, material forming, assembly, inspection and testing, and
communications and control.

A nonprofit organization, IEEE is the world's leading professional association for the
advancement of technology.
